I contacted TP-Link and found that they actually responded, , had an updated controller about to be released and they have uploaded it on their support site. It means that those of us who were stuck using Mojave or buy a new printer will be able to migrate to a 64bit Catalina environment - if all our other programs have also been updated.. I have an Archer D5 router but I believe that they have done this applet across the board.

This just tells me what a brilliant investment TP-Link Routers are in that they have a team that makes sure that their routers and helping software will work on the Mac OS.
