Comment:

It is true we have a site license for NI software. Faculty can create an account with NI and by using their email address can activate NI software for use off campus. The UNM license is for use on campus only as stated in the NI license agreement. The off campus agreement don’t include students.
Multisim is currently only available for installation on Windows operating systems. Multisim can not be installed on Mac OS X or Linux. This is from NI see https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019QhDSAU&l=en-US
Check this for MAC and Linux users. https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019QhDSAU&l=en-US
Archicad 22 crack download. NI Multisim 14 represents a best-in-class engineering design experience, both in the classroom and in the laboratory performing SPICE simulation or measurements on prototypes. With strong roots as an exploratory virtual electronics workbench, Multisim has been a primary go to tool for students and engineers alike to investigate and implement their new circuit designs and electronic inventions.
In collaboration with Mouser Electronics, a worldwide leading authorized distributor of electronic components for over 500 industry leading suppliers, offer MultiSIM BLUE 14. This free tool will add features and functionality to provide engineers with an industry-standard SPICE simulation environment of electronic circuits using Mouser Electronics’ distributed components.
- MultiSIM BLUE offers a free, yet powerful user experience for:
- Building interactive electronic schematic designs
- Using integrated SPICE to explore the basic functional behavior of circuits
- Browsing thousands of parts, that both simulate, tie to real devices and can be built into a PCB level project
- Large project driven database provided by Mouser Electronics Can be used while disconnected
- Free integrated PCB layout, 64 layers, autorouting, 3D mechanical viewing, no board size limits.
- Users are no longer stuck with their designs in a simplified toolset; MultiSIM BLUE has:
- Continuity for your educational or professional needs as all schematics can be opened and maintained in the various other tiers of NI Multisim
- The MultiSIM BLUE database (Mouser Database) can be shared and maintained across all other MultiSIM Professional and Educational tiers as well (free for all existing NI Multisim users on version 13.0.1 and above)
Introduction
The MultiSIM BLUE 14 circuit design platform allows a wide variety of users interested in circuits to create, explore and build functional electronic designs using components from Mouser Electronics. Using the MultiSIM BLUE platform ,you can wire up a circuit schematic, explore basic circuit behavior using inline virtual instruments combined with built-in basic SPICE models1, create a printed circuit board layout and purchase the required electronic components. A key feature in the MultiSIM BLUE platform is the Mouser Database, which is updated by Mouser Electronics, providing the user with a broad variety of up-to-date components from leading component manufacturers.
MultiSIM BLUE Software
There are several software modules that make up the MultiSIM BLUE platform. The MultiSIM BLUE application is the primary portal for updating the Mouser parts database, launching the schematic environment and also transferring completed bill of material (BOM) information to the Mouser Electronics website for ordering. The MultiSIM BLUE icon is typically found on your desktop or you can optionally open the application via navigating to your Programs folder.
MultiSIM BLUE – SPICE Simulation
Introduction
The MultiSIM BLUE circuit design platform enables functional simulation using the latest
Berkeley SPICEengine . A key attribute in MultiSIM BLUE is the ability to visualize the simulation using virtual instruments such as function generators, digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. In addition the MultiSIM BLUE platform enables you to use pre-created LabVIEW instruments that allow you to enable more measurement capability and to interact with your design in unique ways.
What is SPICE?
SPICE is a high level, text based circuit description syntax allowing circuit designers to
mathematical describe the components and connections that make up their circuit. MultiSIM
BLUE automatically generates a SPICE netlist in the background (for those parts containing a
SPICE model) and then has a built-in SPICE engine solver to predict the overall circuit behavior in various modes.
SPICE requires individual components to have a simulation model allowing behavior of the
individual components. The level of detail in the model allows the user to perform f circuit
simulation with different tiers of accuracy. The most complex SPICE models can model noise,
AC, low level DC and transient effects within a circuit whereas ideal models can predict pure
mathematical behavior of a device.
MultiSIM BLUE – PCB Layout
Basics on designing a Printed Circuit Board (PCB)
Introduction
MultiSIM BLUE – A circuit design platform from Mouser Electronics in partnership with National
Instruments. The schematic program allows the user to draw a document representing the electrical component symbols and the interconnections between them. Before generating a PCB, the symbols are mapped to component footprints and the symbol interconnections are converted to a netlist that specifies the connections between the component footprints in the layout process. MultiSIM BLUE also allows the user to do interactive circuit simulation with the same schematic circuit representation used for layout which can be useful for both initial design analysis and testing the design (i.e. verification testing and troubleshooting) once complete. The PCB layout program also known as Ultiboard, is used to generate the mechanical and wiring connection structure of the PCB
from the netlist. The layout program allows the wiring connection structure to be placed on multiple layers and once complete allows the user to generate the CAD (computer aided design) files needed to manufacture a PCB.
With MultiSIM BLUE, you get 4 FREE tools for circuit design from schematic capture, simulation, PCB design, and BOM to purchase – all in one powerful, integrated tool. Plus, you have access to over 100,000 of the industry’s leading manufacturer components, including the newest components from Mouser.
